The Tree is situated in Bar Lane, Stapleford, Cambridgeshire, and was once a thriving hostelry in our village. A pub has been on this site since c1850.

After the pub was closed and bought by a property developer, a passionate group of locals came together, campaigning to bring The Tree back in to use for the community.

You can follow our story on this site , learn about its history and our vision for its future.

We would love to see the building restored, and used by all members of our community, young and old. We are grateful for the support of the Plunkett Foundation, The Pub is the Hub and CAMRA, and most importantly our fantastic local community.
